Jordan 4 Sizing: Do They Run Small? Compared With Jordan 1 and Air Force 1
The Air Jordan 4 is one of the most wanted Jordans, and one of the most asked-about when it comes to fit. Here is how it compares with the Jordan 1 and the Air Force 1, so you can order the right EU size the first time.
Short answer
Most people wear their usual Nike/Jordan size in the Jordan 4. The toe box is a little narrower and the padding around the ankle is thicker than on a Jordan 1, so the fit feels snugger. If you have wide feet, or like room for thick socks, go half a size up.
Why the Jordan 4 feels snug
- Padded collar and tongue. More cushioning around the ankle takes up space inside the shoe.
- Structured toe box. The leather and overlays at the front give less than a soft upper.
- Stiff at first. New pairs feel firmer and soften after a few wears.
